Controversie
In the 2015 World Cup quarterfinal between India and Bangladesh, when Rohit Sharma was out by Rubel Hossain, Pakistan’s referee Aleem Dar called a “no-ball” on Rubel’s full-toss because it was waist high. But TV replays showed that the situation was very close and could have gone either way. The next day, the head of the ICC, Mustafa Kamal, criticized “poor umpiring.” The ICC, on the other hand, said that it was a toss-up and that the umpire’s ruling should be respected.
