Consequently, he has been included in the 15-man team for this highly anticipated tournament, set to commence on May 30, 2019. Expressing immense delight at his acceptance, he articulated

Shadab expressed a consistent sense of optimism due to the early detection of the viral infection. After two weeks of medication, the substance is no longer detectable in my bloodstream. I am currently en route to the World Cup. Pakistan has consistently visited England during the past three years, thereby facilitating the process of acclimatization. In order to effectively confront the problem at hand, it is imperative that I establish a consistent rhythm, as doing so will ensure that I am mentally prepared.

The team experienced a defeat in their inaugural encounter against the West Indies, but they managed to secure victory in their subsequent game against the host nation, England, by a margin of 14 runs. Shadab successfully dismissed the formidable opening batsman Jason Roy and the influential batsman Joe Root for a low score.
