Sachin Tendulkar, a famous cricket player, wanted Rohit Sharma and his son Arjun to be in the same dressing room with him at the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
Sachin and Arjun are the first father and son to play together in the IPL.
During a Twitter campaign called #AskSachin, Sachin shared his thoughts. One of the people asked, “What do you think of when you look at these two pictures?” #AskSachin.” The first picture was of Rohit and Sachin celebrating a MI win, and the second picture was of Rohit congratulating Arjun on his first IPL wicket.
Sachin said, “I wish we were all playing together for @mipaltan,” in response to this question.
Arjun’s first IPL game was with the Mumbai Indians against the Kolkata Knight Riders, and they won. He only had two overs to bowl during the game.
The next match between the Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad was dominated by Tendulkar. Rohit gave Arjun the ball when SRH needed 20 runs in the last over, and the young player came through. He got rid of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, which was his first IPL wicket, and the game was won by 14 runs by the Mumbai Indians.
