Later, the International Criminal Court declared Tendulkar not guilty of tampering. It’s still illegal, he said, but it’s not as serious as tampering with the ball.

  • Sachin Tendulkar’s name was disclosed in the Pandora Papers leak, which was made public on October 3, 2021, by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), a global journalistic alliance. In 91 countries, including India, it claimed to have revealed the financial information of numerous celebrities. Secret documents, according to the ICIJ, showed connections between a number of well-known people and their offshore assets. These people included the cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, the pop music icon Shakira, the supermodel Claudia Schiffer, and an Italian mobstier by the name of “Lell the Fat One.” Tendulkar’s lawyer, though, asserted that Tendulkar had already told the authorities about his interests.

  • On February 24, 2022, Sachin Tendulkar tweeted that he would file a lawsuit against a casino that had misappropriated one of his modified photos for advertising. According to rumors, a Goa-based casino under the name “Big Daddy” utilized his modified image to advertise on social media.

  • When Sachin played for Pakistan: While everyone is aware that Sachin made his international debut against Pakistan in 1989, few are aware that his first taste of international cricket came two years earlier, when he played for Pakistan rather than India. Sachin was asked to field during a festival match between India and Pakistan at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium in 1987, when Javed Miandad and Abdul Qadir departed the field at midday. Imran Khan positioned him at long-on, and soon after, Kapil Dev hit the ball in the air in Sachin’s direction; Sachin attempted but was unable to reach the ball.

Sachin went up to No. 4 in the second innings of the second Test at Adelaide, ahead of Vengsarkar and Azharuddin. Tendulkar scored only 17 in that innings, but the next game was in Perth, and Tendulkar’s captivating 114 in only his second innings at No. 4 put the game out of reach. • Sachin Tendulkar was known for using a heavy bat throughout his career, and despite suffering from a number of ailments over the course of his 24-year playing career, he never switched to a lighter one. Sachin comments on using a hefty bat:

“I frequently received advice to switch to a lighter bat because I used a fairly heavy one. Again, I tried, but because that weight was so important to my entire bat swing, I was never comfortable. The weight was necessary for me to produce power while I was hitting a drive. Everything has to do with timing. The bat should, in my opinion, be an extension of your arm; therefore, if you have already reached the point where it has done so, why make a change? “

“When I first started opening the batting for India in 1994, everyone’s strategy was to save wickets.” What I attempted to do was quite unconventional. I figured I could go up front and take on the opposing bowlers. But I had to beg and beg for a chance. If I fail, I will not pursue you again.”

“When I was about to play my final match, I informed the board, the BCCI, that these two matches would be my last, but my one request and hope was that I play my final game in Mumbai so that my mother could attend the stadium and watch. She hasn’t seen me play live in 24 years, but they graciously consented to host the final game in Mumbai.
