The 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has gotten off to a terrible start for the Delhi Capitals, who have now lost four games in a row. They are now preparing for their fifth game of the season, which will be played on Saturday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Pant is not in the current IPL season because he is still getting better from the terrible car accident he was in last December, which left him with many injuries. After that, he had surgery and is now getting better.

On Friday, Delhi Capitals’ social media shared a picture of Pant standing on the bench and watching the team get ready for the RCB match while vice-captain Axar Patel stood next to him in full gear. Pant might go to the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday to watch the game between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

He went to Delhi earlier this month to see the team’s first home game against the reigning champions, the Gujarat Titans. The famous Indian cricketer was seen walking with crutches, but he smiled and waved at the crowd every time the camera moved toward him. After the match, he also met Gujarat Titans head coach Ricky Ponting and some of the players.

At the same time, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh came back to Delhi. He had left the team last week to go home for his wedding. After his forgettable star this season, it’s not clear if DC will put him right into the starting lineup. In two games, he only scored four runs, one of which was a duck. In those two games, he also got a catch, which cost 24 runs in three overs.
